Battery installation
1. Before installing the battery be sure the safety switch is down in the “off” position.
2. Open battery compartment by sliding it out.
3. Snap two 9 volt ENERGIZER alkaline batteries on to the battery clips. The type of battery is VERY IMPORTANT as other brands may not work with this stun gun.
4. Replace the battery cover.

Testing (WARNING: do not test fire the unit for more than 1 second as this will damage the unit and void the warranty.)
1. Insert the disable pin.
2. Slide the safety switch up one notch.
3. Using your index finger press down on the trigger (do not hold it down for more than one second). You will see and hear an electrical charge fire across the top of the unit between the test probes.
4. To test the alarm, slide the safety switch all the way up. You will hear a loud alarm. Slide the safety switch down to deactivate the alarm.

Using the Stun Gun in Self Defense
1. Touch your assailant’s body with both contact probes.
2. Touching anywhere on the assailant’s body will have an effect. However, the large muscle areas and the upper torso is your primary target.
3. When touching the assailant’s body you will not see or hear the charge as you can when the unit is test fired and you can hold the trigger down for more than one second as this will not damage the unit as it will when being test fired.
4. You do not have to be concerned about the effects of the charge being transferred to you. Even if the assailant touches you while being stunned, you will not feel the effects of the charge.

Effects of the Unit on an Assailant
1. Touching an assailant for less than one second will cause minor muscle contractions and have a repelling effect.
2. Touching an assailant for one to seconds will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state.
3. Touching an assailant for three to five seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control, total mental confusion, and disorientation. All effects to the assailant are temporary; the stun gun can cause no permanent harm.

Warranty
This stun gun has a 5-year warranty. The warranty is voided if the stun gun is test fired for more than on second or if the exterior shows signs of abuse or damage. Manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defective material or factory workmanship and agrees to repair or replace such products, which under normal use and service disclose the defect to be the fault of our manufacturing with no charge for parts and service. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing, replacing or substituting the defective unit for newer model of equal or greater value. Warranty void if distributor/manufacturer is no longer in business. Purchaser must retain a copy of the purchase receipts in order to obtain warranty service or replacement. This device is only allowed to be carried by persons in 18 years of age or older. Purchaser must only use the stun gun in a lawful manner for self defense. Purchase must also agree to hold harmless the importer, distributor, and retailer for any illegal or misuse of this product.

MANUAL FOR 1.2, 2 AND 3 MILLION VOLT RECHARGEABLE STUN GUNS

WARNINGS
This model has a safety disconnect pin (Its little pin with a wrist strap that comes with the stun gun) the unit WILL NOT WORK unless the pin is installed into the hole on the bottom of the gun.

DO NOT DISCHARGE THE STUN GUN INTO THE AIR FOR MORE THAN 1 SECOND AT A TIME. REPEAT FIRING INTO THE AIR FOR MORE THAN 1 SECOND AT A TIME CAN DAMAGE THE UNIT AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

THE BATTERY IS INSTALLED IN THIS UNIT. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE CASE, THIS WILL VOID WARRANTY.

Make certain that no part of your hand or body is closer to the contact probes than the on-off switch on the side of the unit; otherwise you may receive a shock during the test. Make sure the safety switch on the side of the unit is in the OFF position and then install the pin into the hole on the bottom of the unit. Then slide the safety switch (on the side of the unit) to the "on" or in the "stun" mode, then press the discharge or fire button for 1 second only (discharging for more than 1 second at a time may damage unit and will void the warranty) You will see and hear an electrical discharge between the electrodes. There is no need to charge the battery after each test.

BATTERY INFORMATION
The stun gun may have a charge right out of the box, but you should charge it for at least 12 hours but no more than 16 hours. DO NOT overcharge the battery; this will shorten the battery's life span. A fully charged battery should hold a charge for 3 months. The best way to keep the battery fully charged is to charge the battery once a month for 1 to 2 hours. But remember NOT TO OVERCHARGE THE BATTERY because this will shorten the battery's life span. Under normal conditions the battery can be charged up to 500 times.

TO USE:
Touch an attacker with the outside metal contact probes while pressing the activation switch. You can touch any part of assailant's body, but the large muscle areas and the upper torso is your primary target. A second touch will startle and repel assailants, giving some pain and muscle contractions. A moderate length touch of 2 to 4 seconds can cause an attacker to fall to the ground and result in some mental confusion. A touch of 5 or more seconds can cause loss of balance and muscle control, mental confusion and disorientation. No sound will be heard when touching an attacker with a stun gun. Under no conditions you can suffer a charge back to your own body, even if assailant is holding you. The unit can not be damaged by continued firing into the body of an assailant, but remember not to test fire the unit in the air for more then one second.
