Use two 9 volt. Eveready Energizer alkaline batteries.

Other batteries will not work.

-Place full charge on Ni-cd battery before installing.

-To install batteries, unscrew the battery cover located at the end of the baton with the wrist strap.

-Attach batteries to the battery terminals.

-Screw the battery cover back to the end of the baton. Do not over tighten!

-Push switch and you will hear and see an electrical discharge between the two probes. Do not touch probes or metal strips on the sides of the baton while firing.

-Touch both probes against the assailants body for 1/2 second, it will startle assailants. Giving some pain muscular contraction and shock.

-For 1-2 seconds, it will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state.

-For 3-5 seconds, it will cause loss of balance muscle control total mental confusion and disorientation. Living him dazed.
